Green Bar Bill Pack making

I've been looking at this design, thinking of making a daysack of this style, what do you think?

Looks like an interesting exercise; 'sewing' with rivets.

Yeah, I might sew that bit rather than riveting it.

I've done a fair bit of sewing through the medium of a stapler. Very fast, very uncomfortable and very poor at holding fabric together, but if you've split your pants at work, it's either that or bulldog clips...

I've made a few canvas and leather packs and now I rarely use any that are not DIY jobs - be warned, if you start, it can get addictive!

Looking at the pattern, I'd sew it but I'd modify the design as there seems to be occasions when you'd have to sew through 7 layers of canvas and a domestic machine will really struggle with that.
