Food you wish you hadn't taken Bushcrafting.

xylaria

Bushcrafter (boy, I've got a lot to say!)
I took 2kgs of nuts in a big plastic bag (all sorts, peanuts, brasil, hazelnuts, etc) on the westcoast trail. Never touched it, so after 5 days on the trail i finally gave it away (didn't wanna chuck it in bear country...)

I love nuts, but it was just the quantity I think....

I have brought 2 kg or so in sack of fresh hazelnuts to roast on fire at a meet up. Complete pain to shell when out, and the roasting on the fire was about as much fun as putting live rounds on fire. I gave half of them away, and shelled and roasted the rest at home.

NOTE FOR FUTURE IF I BRING A MASSIVE QUANTIITY OF WILD FOOD TO A MEET PLEASE HELP YOURSELVES, DON'T BOTHER BEING POLITE JUST EAT THEM.
