Wow, it has too. I remember a few years ago... Tengu i think it was, got one... they were £20 then. How do you rate them? I read they are a bit rough when bought.... but thats no issue. What kind of use do you get from it? Looking at it, it looks like it will make a good carpenters style axe, making straight edges, small scale hewing.... that kinda thing..

Why do you like it? They are quite thick and heavy aren't they?

It's basically a splitting axe, but the scandi grind makes it very versatile. I've roughed out spoons and kuksas with it, you can choke right up behind the blade and do feather sticks with it, easy to sharpen, and holds a great edge. I've not used many other types of axes, so can't really compare, but it does all I need.

Lovely work. Looks like you've let the wood guide the form rather than try to get it to conform to a more regular shape.
