Is anyone using the Firefox Test pilot, any thoughts on it, is it worth signing up? I'll be glad to hear your views.

I'd never heard of this 'till I read the post yesterday, but as a happy Firefox user I think I'm going to give it a try. From what I read it seems very much worthwhile and some of the ideas appeal to me.
I like the Mozzilla ethos and I've been a user of open source for a good few years now, this seems like a good way to have some input that may be useful in the broader picture.

I signed up to Test Pilot, and tried out some add-ons.
What I find annoying is that if I want to go into Test Pilot is that I have to sign up each time as if I had not already registered as a test pilot.
There is no short-cut button\icon installed on the Firefox toolbar, and I cannot find out how create one.
Maybe it's just me or perhaps a browser setting that I cannot find, but if I had a shortcut\icon to Test Pilot then I would use it more often.

Well I've downloaded the app, no issues there, I'll have a play with it over the next week or so, and see how it goes. Rorymax. have a look in your Mozilla tool bar, 2nd icon from the right, should look like a little car, hit that and it should take you into the test pilot features.
Opera Browser also has a developer programme you can join if like me, you enjoy playing with various browsers (FF is my main browser). http://www.opera.com/blogs/desktop/2016/07/opera-developer-40-0-2296-0-update/

Eventually I resorted to a reset of firefox and the test pilot icon appeared in the toolbar.
I did loose a few add-ons in the process, they could not have been that important as I do not recall what they all were
