We've had a a few threads about poor service from suppliers - so I thought I'd give credit where its due...

Genuine Army Surplus - great service! I ordered a Nanok -10 SF bag from them on Monday - it arrived today by courier at 08:30. and boy was it cheap!! £40 plus £5p&p

Guys, great service, great pricing = one happy customer :You_Rock_

£45   . And i thought my one was a steal at £70 :lmao: . I never had any problems with genuine army surplus. Its a shame that good suppliers don't really get credit when they provide good service, but are attacked when something goes wrong:(

I'd like to nominate Per from the good stuff shop - always been a pleasure to deal with - VERY fast delivery (wouldn't think it was comming from overseas till you try to read the newspaper that the items are wrapped in:lmao: ) and often throws in little gifts to boot!

I would like to heap praise on the ebay seller known as Strikeforce1972 - I have bought numerous items from them both for myself and friends and the service is second to none as are the prices. They also trade on the web http://www.strikeforcesupplies.co.uk/ I am not linked to this seller/trader in any way just a very satisfied customer :)

I must also echo WW's comments re. Genuine Army Surplus as I too ordered the very same item and received it on Monday  - Spooky :D

I'd like to big up Tamarack Outdoors, I got a Fjalraven jacket from them recently and asked if they stocked the wax to go with it - they chucked in a block free! And there was already a decent discount on the jacket! Nice one!

Still stuck in Nothingtown...
I'll second the post about axminster - they're always good and cheap and fast too.

Also http://www.abrasivesplus.com for sandpaper. They do it by the sheet (up to 10,000 grit I think) - they pop it in an envelope just like a letter and send it to you. I don't know why but I really like the idea of that :D
What's that saying about simple things pleasing simple minds?

I ordered some ration packs from genuine army surplus 3 weeks ago and they still haven’t arrived. We have checked the credit card and we have not been charged? We are in no hurry now as we wanted them for the spring bushmoot but something like this could potentially ruin someone’s trip. By the sound of it though this does not happen often and I am sure they have got a good reason.

I've already posted this in another thread but I'm all too happy to post the relavent bits here too.

'The Country Store,
Hillside,
Shawbury Lane (1 mile off B4114 opposite Griffin Pub),
Shustoke,
Warwickshire,
B46 2RR.

Tel. 01675 481006.

I've found the staff to be friendly, helpful and willing to share their knowledge. They have good quality second-hand as well as new airrifles.'

I don't think that they have a web-site yet, fortunately the bit of countryside they're in is very pretty.
I've no connections to this business other than being a very satisfied repeat customer.

Another vote for both Genuine Army Surplus and Strikeforce Supplies !

I told a friend about the Nanoks at Genuine Army Surplus and he ordered four of them last Friday. I got him to put a 5th in for my boy and a couple of ration packs to boot as the postage charge stayed the same :D Shame the Nanoks were not that cheap when I got mine before Xmas!

All arrived first thing on Monday. Just as well I didn't dig around the site more when he ordered

Ordered from Strikeforce one Friday and Jasper said he wouldn't post until the Monday so feel free to call back and add some more to the order :p Got it all on the Tuesday.

Also had some good service from Outdoorcode in recent weeks.

Well I've always had excellent service from www.qualityflashlights.co.uk - pretty much next day delivery if you order early enough. Same goes for Strikeforce - top service. Fact Surplus (www.factsurplus.co.uk) have given me very good service in the past as well.

I would like to especially mention Cam from Firesteels who did me proud when an order of mine went a bit awry. Top geezer!

Joff (no affiliation etc to any of the above - just happy customer)

I've received stuff promptly, correctly and pleasantly from Woodlore and Alpkit and
Amazon is keeping me in textbooks :)

I'm planning to try Wildtrak.com next, for their Lifesystems midge mini-net.
