Been doing the flag thing for the last few years at the gathering and the bushcraft show. We are from Durham (yellow cross on a blue background with four lions) and it's managed to break the ice with a few people asking what it was, The bushcraft show this year only had the one drawback. Wardens checking that you weren't picking up deadwood.Two camps near us were questioned about their wood. Which meant you were supposed to pay £5 for a bag of green wood which of course everyone did, didn't they??
