The auger cuts a very clean hole, it pulls the cutting faces into the wood so you only have to concentrate on turning it and staying straight,
Test fitting the Hazel dowel, MORE YET!
And through,
Next take a scrap of Alder,
And carve a wedge,
then saw off the excess dowel, leaving enough to split with your knife,
Then wedgie you dowel,
One humiliated dowel,
saw it flat by laying you saw flat to the block,
the vice head is coming along,
And this Lime limb will be the legs,
And a gratuitous tool shot to end today, about to get my strop ON!
Many thanks for reading chaps!
