Two of my boys have today decided to research making a HOBO STOVE, they looked on forums and on you tube then with some guidence on using power tools made them,heres some pics of the final products which will be used tomorrow:

The sort of thing that they'll remember I got into tinkering with things when I spent weekends with my grandparents. My grandads shed was like an Alladins cave of interesting bits and bobs. I have fond memories of making stuff with him and I am sure the lads have memories like that too

Can't beat that kind of hand's on teaching. Once learned it can be adapted to other uses or situation's. Best of all it's better than tv or xboxstationwii.

That man cave looks just like mine! WD40, Brasso and the obligatory arrows in th background. Hobo stoves look absolutely grand and the young men should be very proud.
