He moved over to the US for a while and had something going on with Dave Canterbury, a US company were manufacturing his knives also at that time. That’s the last I heard of him.

Who/what is he or was? Never seen this name before.

A complex character :)

He spent years living rough in the Scottish wilds providing a 'guide' service. He worked with Lofty Wiseman to set up what became Trueways (a course provider) but had issues with new management, set up another group, designed and marketed his 'survival' knives, then, to all intents and purposes, has disappeared.

Chris has been a buddy of mine for the last 15 years. I spoke with him roughly 6 months ago. He is a hard man to get ahold of - he more gets ahold of you. I do know he has a new partner and she is not fond of him spending any time on the computer, so I rarely get to speak with him anymore. I don't believe he was doing survival training any longer though. If anyone has a message for him, I can let him know when he contacts me again.

Please send him all the very best. He won't know who I am by name, but I'm very grateful for all the past trainings, his advice and inspiration - still. A top bloke.
