Hi Cambridgeshire bushies

It's been a while but I am back on the scene for bushcrafting. I never made it to abingdon last time but hope to meet you all soon. I am taking the family to the H4H concert 12 Sept but am available after that.

Cheers all

I'm free any time but not for saturdays though as got to work. Yeah, Kev did you get any feedback about Doddington wood? Sounded well promising.

Still need to sort out hammock insulation, froze again sunday!

Been today to see about the Doddington Wood and it looks promising.
No cat scratching allowed though and it has Motor Cross every Saturday in one of the woods.
Owners going to ring back later to have a chat. I'll keep you posted

Sounds good Kev and thanks again for helping me out with the flint & steels. I had a play last night and it took a while to 'get my hand and eye in' but I got flame :

I will let you know how w/e goes mate.

hey folkes - im not sure what the problem was with the scout camp before but we have never had any problems with Abingdon. We just need to know who is there and i would think that would be normal for any meet?
Oh there is a minor charge for using the site, but i assume there were some other issues being elluded to?
Hmm restrictive...? am curiouse now - oh it is no booze if thats what u mean?

Speaking of which how does the 25th and 26th of this month suit (dates picked fairly at random) - at the scout camp.

Just sent the booking form.
Will let you know as soon as i do!
Hope we get it as Im hoping those huge bits of pine log are still there as i think i could have my eye on one for a massive trough/Bowl - might be beyond my arms so may have to enlist some assistance!! or you can stand around and laugh of course.

:)
