Bowl carving adze edge profiles

I'm going to make a set of bowl carving adzes but first I need some info on the edge profile. Are they sharpened on the inner or outer edge or both?

My bowl Adze is sharpened on the inside. Hope these pics help.

for bowls I usually sharpen the outside its easier to scoop a curve as it turns

I have one sharpened on the inside; it still works for scooping, but does limit the radius a bit.

Mine is ground on the inside, I prefer it that way as I find it easier to take finer cuts
