Starting off is sign of a bear. Here an old deadfall is torn apart by a bear to get at the ants

Walking along the shoreline of a lake I find an egg, just lying there where I assume it's been washed up. I think it's a seagull egg
The same beach with moose or caribou tracks, I'm not sure which
The crowberries are ripening. These are a favourite of bears
Speaking of bears, here's the skull of one

People made do in the bush with whatever was on hand. Here a 10 gallon fuel drum has been made into a woodstove
