Mark has actually had a play with this one some time ago, but i'll extend the offer like Mr Ferret, if you or Mark need to borrow it for the original blade shape, just shout

Let me know if your doing a barrel knife blade batch mate! Mines ground beyond being usefull...

If they are the same size, and all the bits that need to be in the same place are, then once i have a template, i can make any number of them. I could change the blade shape a little between them without trouble, so long as the bits that fit to the brass holder are the same.

Good find looks really nice condition got given a ww2 martindale machete with leather scabbard fi is going to take a pic and post it.

Not the easiest of things to produce, thats for sure.
