I got this a few days ago from the forum, and it is now my one of the favorite blade for wood processing.

Due to the hollow aluminium handle, the knife feels feather light giving excellent grip and balance.

The leather sheath is 1st class well made by the Italian workmanship, and the blade is 440 SS, which will not rust, reasonably tough, and easy to sharpen.

I did some testing on the 699, and it worked great. This afternoon it was cutting the iron hard 20 year old Japanese Maple tree logs cut and dried last year. The 699 dealt with it no problem, and the edge still paper shredding sharp afterwards.
