I'd buy a 4 bedroom house, with 5 acres of arable land and 3 acres of oak woodland.

I reckon that five grand an acre is about the price of woodland up here so about two acres.
Obviously I'd rather have a bit more but if thats what the money gets that's what I want.

I could sort out bunging a shed on it later. That's the easy bit.

Id take me and the misses accross the water to see wolves in the wild. And idealy if i had enough time try to learn more about them and maybe do some help towards there modern day threats. And if i had a little left id like to see orca whales too.
This is hopefully going to be how our honeymoon is going to be spent

If I had that much free to spend? (I actually have a bit more than that redily available but I also have a bit more debts/mortgage than that as well)

10,000 pounds (about $15,000 - $17,000) I suppose I'd build some barns on my land in Mississippi and try to start ranching again.

driving lessons and a decent road worthy but abusable car
then hire a bushcraft instructor (i have a couple in mind but not sharing) and get some one to one tuition well i say one to one i mean lisa shannon me and jake (possibly a mate or two)
