First proper night out tonight!

Despite being a lingerer & frequent poster on here, I haven't actually slept in the woods yet. Bergen all packed and looks MASSIVE!! It's mainly sleeping bag as bivi/hammock don't take up too much room but I don't have a stuff sack large enough to compress it down (and didn't want to rely on my thinner bag)

Going to take dog for protection* & hope I don't get too scared...


* in case of water soluble predators

Nah, they'll be running in the opposite direction when they get a sniff of you

If you are attacked by Wild Boar remember the following safety rule,

Always have enough apple sauce!
Always remember only a real good cider for cooking should be used
the only truly inedible part is the oink!!
Apricots can be substituted in case of emergency loss of apple sauce

and most important of All

In a total loss of all condiments , have an emergency supply of HP in your pack

Ever had a dog-panicked deer run full pelt at you? That was pretty scary. Getting dark & cold now. Internet access very slow so will upload pictures tomorrow, Sporkmaster's comments notwithstanding
