Nice Potential Cast.
< Take the money and run >

Hope the script is upto their acting abilities.

I've seen it, it was Ok, but I wasn't overly impressed.

Too much time setting the scene and not enough action, but the 10 minutes or so of action that there was, was good

i've heard the same, tbh it smacks of GW's marketing division testing the waters again, they do this regularly with small films and the like what works they invest in generously, what doesn't they bury then send out copyright infringement notices to everyone who attempts to make their own version :/
cgi doesn't appear too great with this either, tbh i thought the intro to dawn of war looked more fluid.

Powered Battle Armour, whats not to like? :)

GW have been doing this for years , I remember sitting in Bugmans Bar watching short Films about Dark Angels , Imp Guard and Genestealers in 2000 while umpiring the Test of Legends . the museum still has some of the prop weapons and armour in there too , would be really cool to see proper CGI of the vehicles and armour mmmmmm will keep an eye out for this :)

Dont worry, Tetley, the guys in the dreadnaughts are just about dead anyway.

I cant afford it either. (And I prefer Space Wolves....Or Chaos Marines...)

Too rich for my blood. I LOVE Warhammer 40k books (not bothered about the actual game though) but I won't pay that for a cgi movie. A basic edition would be nice.

I am looking forward to the Space Marines game this year too.

Oh the armour, so many people have made suits of power armour or Tactical Dreadnought armour (terminators) the termis look the best imho.
thing is there have been live action snippets to some of the older games, anybody remember that old Epic 40k game by SSI "Final Liberation" ? the live action in that wasn't that bad and the props were fantastic.
i suppose film wise GW stories suffer from the same issues Halo does. There are already toy/model lines, books and computer games there for if the film were to flop at the box office there'd be no way of making the money back. hence we don't get decent films.
still i'd love to see a british cast do a film about a squad of Imp Guard who for instance might be hunting or being hunted by a chaos marine or something. that would be a manageable short.

Blood angels for me :) I love the fact the death company can ignore any wounds so long as you have a chaplain, plus you can have as many of them as you want in that company without adding any extra points! Been a long time since I played but it was fun :)

I'm currently re-reading The Horus Heresy series (not enough £££s to continue on from 'Mechanicum'!), having just finished 2 books I got for xmas - 'Brothers of the Snake' and 'Salamander'. I may re-read the Gaunt's Ghosts books I also have. I really liked the Dan Abnett novels/

zoiks! £26???!!! my wallet hasn't been raped by GW since I was a teenager, but 26 quid for a DVD?! that's awfully steep! going to have to get the boys from Sweden on this one I think! ;)
