One of my friends has been completely deaf from birth, he's a big lad and likes to horse play.
One day he grabbed me and put me in a head lock. The thing was he was wearing a sheriffs star which pierced my cheek. Had he pulled away or moved my head he would have torn my cheek open. Luckily he let go and I was able to pull the thing out with minimal damage. For such a small puncture wound it stung like billy o. Cheek (and scalps) bleed profusely when peirced or cut.

Have you ever had sore hair?

Sometimes, if I've been wearing a bandana, after I take it off my hair hurts!(?) I guess it must have pulled the follicle or something.

I know, there is rarely an excuse for wearing a bandana unless you're a pirate or an 80's rock star, but sometimes....

I once while attempting to pull the shrink wrap off a head high pallet in a shipping container managed to punch myself in the family jewels ( by accident!! ) with the full force i could muster.... I was pulling the shrink wrap in a 'down and towards me' action, and surprise , surprise , the shrink wrap broke! My fist carried on following its only little trajectory....

As i lay there doubled up and waiting for a passing Vet to step in a do the decent thing of putting me down , i couldn't quite decide if it was as funny as it was embarassing.... much, much later i re-arranged myself , made sure the 'goods' were just rattled and not written off and hobbled out of the container for a cup of tea and slice of cake...

Something I've seen at a gig that looked painful was seeing someone ( drunk! so it didn't hurt so much ) forcefully sit themselves down on a step... without checking to see that a few empty pint glass were already in situa , needless to say his precious 'tradesman' entrance was heavily cut and lacerated and many glass particles were still embeded within the 'eye' , if you know what i mean......

I regularly used to punch myself in the tins when opening bottles of wine with my SAK.

Thank God for screw tops and a proper corkscrew.

But for disproportionate pain, try plucking a nose hair whilst bogey mining. Or an ingrowing toenail.

Playing football at school on cold mornings, and being hit by a mouldmaster on the thigh. It was a long time ago, but the memory is still burned into me.

Clip your strings shorter mate! I clip mine very close these days, for exactly that reason.

On a similar vein to TeeDee - I was trying a new release aid for a compound bow a few months ago and accidently triggered it just as it was rolling over it's 60-odd pound peak. Smacked myself in the mouth, gave myself a bloody lip and bit through the back of my hand.

It's hard to believe you can laugh so hard while in pain. :D

Then had to explain it to workmates on the monday as it was such an obvious punch injury.

Try biting your little fingers across the nails (as much pressure as you can take for 20 seconds) then link your little fingers and pull.

Well, by now the relevant nerves should be numbed permanently but for some reason it still hurts like "Hull" when i forget to duck through doorways :banghead:

also I used to work as a glass cutter so i'll leave you to imagine the kind of horror stories I could tell :)
