I agree , it's weird looking.

It's a deadlift jack.

Although I don't mind lifting a barbell , loading and unloading the plates ( when on the ground ) is a massive PITA , so you use this to attach at an angle to the barbell then use the leverage to pivot it off the ground for loading , unloading.

That or it's some sprinters prosthetic leg.
Just saw this :D

As it's not possible to machine-dye the whole thing without also dyeing the brown side, your only option is to use a dye like Jacquards fabric paint, applied by brush. I tried it to make the old WW2 british brushstroke camo, and it was very very tricky, so I gave up on that. However, one thing that you could easily do with those paints is to make something like a pine-needle blotch kind of camo, using dark green on the white side. I bet it would look great.
Could try block printing.

And I had a second solar micro inverter arrive. £110 so a good chunk of the way of the way of ‘paying off’ the investment just by it being on offer. It’ll pay back in less than two years by my guesstimate.

Not today, but I inspected it more closely today. I bought a length of DPM cotton twill last week and it arrived, complete with the surplus smell, so I was getting excited about having scored a 1960s early DPM.
On closer inspection and with a burn test, it appears to contain a good bit of polyester in it :(
Either way, I am starting to put together a copy of the 1963 Pattern Windproof Smock with it, and hope I'll get my hands on the real deal fabric at some point, so I can do a better job of it on a further attempt.

It actually arrived on Friday but I'm running it in today. The Fire Maple 1.2l with a wide lid so I can park my scooter in it. I didn't need it but I've wanted one for ages because I think it looks beautiful.
