Not ugly! it has a rustic charm!! I'm discovering I actually really like wooden sheaths, especially on larger blades. Speaking of which, I very much like that leuku.
Thanks its a Polar blade I handled. I bought it over the Lauri blades as it has slightly more length.

I do use it quite a bit. The handle is brass leather oak leather spalted birch then leather and brass for the pummel.
Nicely executed :notworthy . I llike stepped lacing ~ and I keep meaning to have a play with the various types, but someone STILL has my book.... yes, I'm looking at you, SAM
