I was searching for dutch iron recipes for a up and coming family and I came a cross a pancake recipe so had to try it

1/4 cup butter
Batter mix (
1 cup plain flour
1 cup milk
6 eggs, lightly beaten
salt,
Vanilla or cinnamon)

Preheat the oven to 180
Warm up the DO,
Mix up batter
But butter in DO and melt until sizzling
Pour in batter and bake in oven for 30 to 40 mins

Take out and traditional server with lemon and sugar.

Next time I will reduce the quantity of batter mix for my DO

It seems this is a variation of the Yorkshire pudding, just not as good.

My brother in law loves cold Yorkshire pudding the following day with jam on
Not tried it myself but but I can kinda see the appeal - sort of

SWMBO family are from up north and they have yorkshire puddings as a pudding with jam.

The dutch baby is apparently a breakfast meal. To me it seems a mix between an omelette and a Yorkshire pudding.
