Mine is , the first Dartmoor meet we had , a new member Mr Spoon, attempting an assault course we had erected for the kids .

Someone decided you had to craft a spoon , good enough to eat your dinner with, and then complete the assault course in the fastest time , with your spoon !
I don't think i have laughed so much in years.
There is a video on youtube , of said event , under title Bushcraft Assault Course , if somebody is clever enough to move it to this thread it would be appreciated'

Whats Yours ?

Spinderella

For me, seeing John Fenna almost die laughing has to be up there with the funniest (some exclamation marks are beyond polite explanation ;))

Falling face first into a blazing fire near Coldingham, gsfgaz pulling me out, andybysea trying to roll me back in...

This is REALLY tough, I've been fortunate enough to have had a brilliant laugh at every meet I've been on and it's the guys that have made them such a good experience so thanks to them.

1. First would have to be big Jason (jag009) at the Wiston Lodge meet, the big man was on great form and had me in hysterics a few times, the banter was flowing very well, favourite quote 'did a ask you?!?' Even after he went to bed there was hilarity!

2. Dunure woods, there was a bit of strage silence and some loud cracking noises, went round the corner and Cutchy was planking about 30ft up a tree!!

3. Anything involving Allybally, have had some great laughs with him :D

4. The 'smooth port' incident at Loch Doon also deserves some merit, big Tam (Barn Owl) was also on top form that night and what a singing voice that man has especially when lubricated with the finest port :lmao:

There will be hundreds more but these are the ones that instantly jump into my head hopefully get some more before the years out.

Another memorable moment , was lucky enough to meet Bushwhacker at a meet , and at about 9.00pm kids were in bed , but within earshot and we decided to tell jokes in a clockwise fashion around the fire .

So i said no bad language and lets keep it clean , Bushwhacker said ok ! i'll start

You had to be there of course but here goes , in a very broad Dorset accent , " somebody came up to me the other day and called me pretentious " Prententious , i nearly spilled my latte "

swiftly followed by , i went to the doctors the other day , with a strawberry stuck up my **** , and he said " its ok i have got some cream for that ! "

Oh yes.... that was a brilliant night to remember I have never ached so much from laughing.

A close second is a night at the moot when a certain young lady who happened to mention the bowel habits of a sloth and other things... to appreciate it you just had to be there  :lmao:

I so have to go to a meet-up sounds wicked. And with like minded people. Couldnt get any better in my book.

I saw a woman with a moustache a couple weeks back. Nearly wet myself. Proper moustache mind and she was with her husband who didn't have a moustache.
It was one of those moments when you're not supposed to laugh, like at a funeral or school assembly, so that made it worse.
Other than that, Spoonman gets my vote.

first thing that pops to my mind is when you ate that rabbit eye ;)

There are untold humorous moments, concerning that man Bushwhacker, cider festivals, gorgeous women, great pals , making you snog ferrets , narcoleptic transvestites, waking landlords after hours, tracking otters , etc etc .

Worth knowing though !

I think I caused a few laughs by falling in a stream a time or two.

Oddly, nothing much comes to mind, though it has been an enjoyable year. I suppose that's a consequence of solo camping.
