You've put me in the mood to have a scrape at one of the staves that's been sat here for a while. Must admit I was put off by breaking the last couple of attempts but that's ages ago now, time to shrug it off and have another shot.

Yeah its a killer when you invest so much time into something only to have produced shiny kindling.
Blew apart a cherry, crushed an elm and an ash recently. Still I learnt far more from them than the ones that just roll over and become a bow.
I want to see progress photos ASAP......
