I was going to ask you about that jacket too. It's a far more effective pattern than the US woodland cammo in that environment I think. Most DPMs seem too dark in bright sunlit forest. That is a really amazing area. Damn I'm jealous...

I agree..The SS camo tends to mimic its enviroment where most DPM tries to blend into the it w/ no standard pattern.If that made sense....

Well seeing as you asked and Spacemonkey was interested too, I found a UK supplier Soldier of Fortune They are a pretty good army surplus shop who do a re enactors catalogue too. Be aware that if you use plastic it will come up as "Soldier of fortune" on the credit card bill so your SWMBO may think you are hiring mercenaries

Like I said I wanna get some fabric and make large chest pockets and make it into an anorak..I might even make shoulder pockets on the arms.

I was told no cuts and no tourniquet for snakebite.

Also only suck with your mouth if you are pretty sure you have no lesions or sores.

I used to climb in el chorro when I was younger and slimmer and the med vipers used to purposely hide in the best holds as far as I could see.

My AF Flight Crew Survival manual clearly shows BOTH methods (cutting and turnaquet) being employed to treat snake bites..The turnaquet to slow and stop the blood flow and the cut to suck out the bad juice....I'll trust this over a Google search.........
