Thought I'd try out a Lixada wood gas stove I got in the gift it on thread.
Nice little stove, fits perfectly in my Zebra 14cm lunch box. Filled it with small twigs and lit it with a piece of birch bark, it caught very quickly and boiled 500ml of water in 8 minutes. Overall useful burn is 20 minutes, (I understand cat litter gives a longer burn time) so enough for a brew and bacon and eggs. Cool enough to empty the ash after about 35 minutes.
I quite enjoyed using the stove and anticipate using it more often, Covid-19 permiting.
Now we are all locked down, maybe we should do some reviews, kit tests, camps in the garden and skillshares, what do you think?
