Mine just made me a set of snakeskins for my hammock, by deconstructing an old pair of waterproof trousers (that bit was my idea).

She made a fantastic job of it. She managed to keep the elastic from the waistband so that it automatically tightens at one end, and used the width-adjustment press studs on the legs so that I can join the two skins together once they are on. She even managed to keep a pocket on one of them, so that I've got somewhere to store those annoying loose cords that you always seem to have when hammocking. All hand sewn, too.

Tidy job Harvestman good idea,my wifes a bit of dab hand with a sewing machine i may have to bribe her. How about you Drew got yourself a wife yet? :eek:
