Hello Bushcrafters !

Im here to decide and discuss what project should i do in bushcraft next ?

Im not the most expirenced when it comes to the seasons and time to do certain things.
Since im in my teenage years

Im wondering if you guys can help me decide.
Myabe the vetrens of bushcraft can state a project they liked.
And even someone saying a project that they enjoyed.

Thanks guys look forward to hearing from you all

Sorry if i used the word project too much i didnt know what to call it

Hi and Welcome to the forum Pad2.

It normal for a little introduction, and a bit about yourself first in the Introductions thread.

As for a project!

the big three are:

1. Fire
2. Water
3. Shelter

not necessary in that order, but they are the basics. I do recommend however learning how to use the basic tools first, mainly safe use of cutting tools, and a bit of basic first aid before embarking on your first project.

If you're new work with the seasons...
It'll soon be time to harvest birch sap.
Fire lighting is trickier now as most materials are damper so it's a good time to practice that.
Perhaps contact your local BTCV group and see if they're coppicing anywhere near you. It's a great way to get experience in felling trees and you'll be able to take some wood home to make things from.
As the ground is wetter it's also a good time to practice tracking/stalking.
Look into what few wild foods there are around this time of year and see if you can find and identify them for real. And if you're really sure - eat them!

Any help?
