Im the Int'l Sales & Marketing Manager for a large aerospace parts distributor, who in turn are part of a massive aerospace manufacturing group.

Hi Catz- as I remember it I had more spare cash (but far less sense) as a student. Then again I had a lot of debt when I left so there was the lesson. Anyway, at present I'm a stores manager for a company specialising in high level access and safety/ fall arrest systems. Previously I managed a mountaineering equipment shop, and following that spent a grim few years as a business analyst in IT with a big nasty corporation. I wouldn't do that again for anybody's money.

Oh and another full time job as a daddy to my 16 month old daughter.:)
 
This is a really interesting thread, such a diverse range of professions, its amazing to see people from all walks of life under one roof so to speak.

Oh, my. I'm embarassed to say I'm an accountant in the States. I started out in forestry in college but had trouble telling one tree from another. That and chemistry ended that. I have also served both in the U.S.Army and the (D.C.) National Guard. I am with a trade show display company.
