I can’t seem to find another thread on this, although I was sure there was one. If so, my Search Fu has failed me so apologies.

Anyway, tonight I have been led down the path to Colter Wall. Great young country musician. His voice sounds like he’s been doing it for 50 years.

Enjoyed both of these. The latter reminds me a bit of Home Free, the accapella group

Love some Townes. The Van Zandt surname carries some real weight in the Country world, even if they weren’t all related.

OK so he’s my grandson. He’s still a very talented guitarist. This was his audition for Telford Young Musician of the Year 2025.

I’m a big shredder fan and there are so few about these days.

Iam listening to a lot of Madness recently, loved em as a boy, also recently I’ve been on a journey back through the 80’s, stuff I absolutely couldn’t stand as a kid is like high art compared to stuff today.

Franz Ferdinand and Muse this morning, might be Bach or Credence Clearwater Revival this afternoon, I have quite varied musical tastes, very much been enjoying the Rat Pack of late too, Frank, Dean and Sammi have featured rather a lot recently much to the detrement of my neighbours eardrums as I "sing" along.

This chap is playing our local town hall soon, so thought I’d check him out to see if it was worth a ticket.

Really like his stuff from YouTube, so definitely going to go and check his gig out.
