Have loved Colter Wall for a while - (He doesn't know it yet)

I'll see you your Colter Wall and raise you a John Moreland

And for fun I'll leave you with some of The Dead South

Enjoyed both of these. The latter reminds me a bit of Home Free, the accapella group

I like what I have heard from Colter Wall. I believe he did a few Townes Van Zandt covers... this being one of my favourite Townes numbers. Outlaw country at its best.

Love some Townes. The Van Zandt surname carries some real weight in the Country world, even if they weren’t all related.

Been listening to THIS (6mins) quite a lot.

OK so he’s my grandson. He’s still a very talented guitarist. This was his audition for Telford Young Musician of the Year 2025.

I’m a big shredder fan and there are so few about these days.

SAMPLE (20 seconds)
(Strange but not everyone enjoys shredded metal.)

Of course he won!!!!!!

Franz Ferdinand and Muse this morning, might be Bach or Credence Clearwater Revival this afternoon, I have quite varied musical tastes, very much been enjoying the Rat Pack of late too, Frank, Dean and Sammi have featured rather a lot recently much to the detrement of my neighbours eardrums as I "sing" along.

the scratch are very good. Irish trad and thrash. very melodic , powerful and fused with ballad. nice to hear something unusual x
