Preparation is for boring people. After all, what could possibly go wrong in the Arctic?.............

Had a bit of fun last night. Site is a bit uneven. Set up tarp on snow, Exped downmat 9lw on top, and climbed into my Wiggys Ultima Thule bag. Woke up this morning to find I'd slid down the tent and the foot of the bag had gone through the gap in the door I always leave open for ventilation, with 6 inches of snow on it. Never noticed a thing...

AccuWeather shows Jokkmokk at -19c a 4.25pm. Clear skies tonight, and the forest which tends to be colder than the town, shoul as be distinctly chilly!
