I'm having a bad week....

Catch and release, it's not right so I'll see if it gets any interest.

Berghaus Vulcan II Size 3
Back length 43-48 cm
Typical height 170-183 cm or 5'8"-5'11"
Complete with side pouches and the straps to make a daysack, and the two straps that no one seems to know what they are for...

Light use by the previous owner but otherwise clean. All zips and clips as they should be, got two lifetimes left in this one.

I've tried to take honest photos as the fabric has faded (?) to a mustard/camel/dark earth/coyote colour which is a bit funky.

**Forgot to add, as is common in the older ones the lid elastic is loose. Can be fixed or left as is by the new owner**

£60 including PayPal fees and post. UK only please and no trades.

Cheers for looking.

Heya, I'm potentially very interested in this one or the other one, like strongly interested but I just need to get my act together over the weekend. I don't have a rucksack like this right now and am in need of one. I've been advised to get a british military Bergen, do you know if this is comparable in size and style - 100L yes?

Your size 2 you've dropped down to £45 which is considerably cheaper than this one. Why so? Is it condition, or is the size 2 smaller/less useful/less featured - is it the lack of the side pockets?

I'll do some research and be online again on Saturday, but don't put it back in the stash just yet.

Oh, & do you know if you can add the frame to it if I bought the Cyclops frame separately? idk if that's a thing I actually want or need, but just for thinking about the future.

Both have an aluminum frame inside already.

It's really going to depend on your height (not that that necessarily is your back length), the Berghaus guide lines/sizing I've indicated on each one.

The size 3 does come with side pouches and the strap set to turn them into a daysack of sorts. It is also in a better condition than the size 2.

Vulcan v PLCE is a thread all of it's own, but generally although the Vulcan, on paper is smaller, it is also lighter and regarded as more comfortable than an issue bergen, and was a common private purchase back in the day.

Hope that helps.
