Sprinkle some washing powder on that and wait for it to rain!Has anyone got any top tips or tricks? It must be something ingenious or useful but most of all simple. This my peg less washing line made by doubling a line and twisting it. Please note I used my dirty washing for photographic purposes. View attachment 85384View attachment 85385
Its funny you should say that ............. Ive just edited what I originally wrote. That is exactly what I do.Sprinkle some washing powder on that and wait for it to rain!
good. idea. I like that xI've come to the opposite conclusion and use 2 pegs tied at either end of a short piece of string. Handy for hanging shoes over my stove amongst other things.
i like that as well xTumble dryer fluff is great tinder. Catches a spark right away, and is a free byproduct of drying clothes at home. I just keep it in a plastic bag and take a pinch of it out with me.
a fine collection lol xView attachment 85389
This is my collection of dryer fluff.
Note - I only collect when I’m drying cotton.
Wool and synthetic don’t work well. You can’t beat the harvest from washing a new towel!
< Toddy is getting excited at the possibilities of a find!!!! >Where did you find those ? and can we have a photo of the ends please ?
I found them on the beach with lots of others. I dont think they are old tools. I never even thought about that till now but one of them actually looks like an axe xxxx< Toddy is getting excited at the possibilities of a find!!!! >
Probably far, far cheaper than the bag of Kapok I bought from some bushcraft site! I’ll mark that down in my “onboard” filing system.Hamster bedding (kapok),great tinder, and cheap as chips at Asda.
