tipi + stove = carbon monoxide poisoning?

Hi

I'm new on this forum, so thought i'd say hello, whilst at the same time posting a question. I have a recently purchased greenoutdoors tipi 6 which i'm in the process of fitting out with a small woodburner for use in the colder months (can't wait!). My question is what's the best way of managing the risk of carbon monoxide?

The chimney in my tipi exits through the top if the tent through a heat shield sleeve.
The apex cover fits around the outside of the heatshield to maintain its weather-proofness (!)
The heat shield protects the tent and apex piece from the heat of the chimney itself but also by virtue of containing a warm slug of air constantly vents out through the top and so draws fresh air into the tent around the bottom.
