Silver is up 92% over the past 12 months.
£200,000 worth of gold multiplied by 1.53 = £306,000.
£200,000 worth of silver multiplied by 1.92 = £384,000.
No gold is up 53% so that is roughly half as much again on top of what it was a year ago.what so gold has doubled? and silver doubled and half again?

5.24% is not even keeping up with inflation.*So from the video

Total £ 13100 -- assume all had max holdings of £50k per person
Mean of £2620 per person .
Return of 5.24% per 50k
I'm not rich in money anyway and I'm working towards having done with it. xxxHealth, friends and family are real wealth.
Money is just tool. A very useful tool granted but money is not real wealth in my opinion.
Anyway that's enough of my rubbish attempt at amateur philosophy.Let's get this thread back to the subject of Premium Bonds.
There is nothing wrong with money per-say. Money is just a medium of exchange which in and of itself is neither good nor evil. It is the person who possesses the money who gets to choose how it will be spent and it is their choices and their actions which are good, evil, neutral or whatever.I'm not rich in money anyway and I'm working towards having done with it. xxx
I agree absolutely. money is an incredible tool for positive change. The reason I am trying to get used to the idea of not using it is because I won't have a choice if I refuse to engage in a digital alternative. just to keep with the premium bonds thread. I think the returns are so so but I would hedge my bets and get some. I did have some spare cash this year but spent it on a flea circus. I might get some next year xxxxxxThere is nothing wrong with money per-say. Money is just a medium of exchange which in and of itself is neither good nor evil. Having money and being rich is not a bad thing though. In fact it is a good thing provided you are a good person with it. You would be very limited in your ability to help either yourself or other people around you if you're skint and have no money available to use as a tool to make things happen.
