Ha ha, now there was a show - and it kind've predicted those awful things "shell suits" in one episode if I remember. Perhaps the opening titles and music were the best bit.

Now that show takes me back to my youth. I used to love it. But as Red says, some things are better remembered. As for the remake, the US version will be a typically teenage angst ridden show.
Rik, I really enjoyed that clip, I remember the show well.
This is a show I always liked. Mainly for the moonbase ladies with purple hair.

I enjoyed the Tomorrow People and will take your advice and not revisit it. I always loved they way they could jaunt between locations, always fancied that rather than having to walk the 2 miles to school.

UFO was much better, I loved Lt Ellis as well. Seeing that opening clip brought back some fond memories. Oh how the 80's were so different to what they predicted. Perhaps if we'd alien invasion we might have got a moonbase. :lmao:

Anyone remember this? Now this could be a series that would do well for being remade, but they'd have a tough time making it as good as I remember the original.

Biker they maybe didn't show it in France but they did remake it, Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer stared. It was pretty good. Loved the original though.

Though when it comes to bad remakes CI5 The New Professionals takes the biscuit.

Now then, Lewis Collins was definitely eye candy :D Wasn't quite so keen on the golly though.
UFO had Michael Billington :D

Okay, maybe the 80's weren't all bad

The theme tune used to give me the willies as a nipper! I have to say though children's tv, well tv in general especially quality drama was much better back in the day. I almost never watch tv now and haven't done for a good ten years or so! Brendon Chase now there was a great children's programme, I loved it :)

Thoroughly nice fellah too. I remember him fondly being very friendly to me when he was at a shoot with me and my mum. He was a very good pistol shot as I recall as well.

They did remake it. With Vic and Bob it wasn't quite the same, but thoroughly enjoyable.

Edit: just a quick reminder to myself to READ THE THREAD BEFORE POSTING!
