The big one!!

  • Come along to the amazing Summer Moot (21st July - 2nd August), a festival of bushcrafting and camping in a beautiful woodland PLEASE CLICK HERE for more information.
I some how wonder, if this next week is going to drag a little for a few? I know it is for me, everything is in place for a vintage meet, hopefully this horrible weather will pass in time for the festivities.

Hey Richie, seeing as your planning skills are as good as ever! Re the frozen thing, maybe we can do something to appease the Scotsman, by organising a few days away, i can think of another member who might be able to wangle it?

Darren, what ever you bring to the party, in the sharps department will be interesting.

I think everybody has got the directions, if not shout!

See some of you on Thursday morning, can't wait.

Ivan...

I'd be interested too...just need to know when.

I'm pretty sure most of us will be getting wet from the inside out :)

I'm bringing a 3x3 to keep the BBQ out the way. Its going to be doing its thing for 10-12 hours !

Latest forecast is much better. Thursday looks very wet, Friday a little and pretty good for Sat/Sun.
Ill be bringing some extra tarps too along with a WC and utility tent to offer some luxury. Reading material not supplied though and Izal toilet paper (80's tracing paper) will be rationed to 2 squares in homage to my 80's school days.

OHH!! Izal, is it medicated? And does it still smell?

I have been watching the forecast, very closely and can't find one i really like, i think we will get what we get.

Don't worry about the lamb(other thread) There will be plenty.

Ivan...

Wait a minute James my good man.Am I traveling down with a portaloo ? and enough toilet paper for the soiled masses

Even worse traveling back after Skate has used it look what happened to that Gelert stool he thought he might "adapt" use as a toilet

And Paul Webster...........goodjob lol

It will require emptying I fear

Bagsy I use it first.
Maybe it should be placed in the neighboring field with the bulls, won't get too full then.
The car is all packed and ready for tomorrow, game on.

Well! Gentlemen and ladies of course, this well be my last post before i descend to the woods of fun and frivolity tomorrow morning, earlyish, so please all drive safely and come and have a really good time.

We have a zillion pound, state of the art weather centre in Exeter, a mere 10 miles away, as the crow flies, and still none of us know exactly what we will encounter, so lets all think positive thoughts and i am sure we will be ok!

Probably goes without saying, but if you could all park in the same fashion as everyone else it would be great, also if you could be mindful not to obstruct the farm entrance, that will be cool!

Anyway see you all at various times over the next few days!

Ivan...

Bet i am first there...

Im sure were going to have some very wet nights, not in the mr newman sense of course, followed by some groggy mornings but things brighten up after a solid breakfast!

As for the weather, I couldn't care less...
