Hi all,
this is not a testing or a review, so I'm not sure 100% it's the right place for this post.
Anyway: any months ago, I was called by FKMD Knives http://www.fkmdknives.com/ to design a small machete, 9" blade. One of the layout I done was accepted, than FKMD asked me for a similar design but smaller, blade 6". This second layout was also accepted.
Of course I'm proud of my work
Now, it's testing time: I thought differents test for both knives, and would like had your opinions/suggestions
1. preparing/cutting food: vegetables, meat, bread
2. preparing woods for fire (chopping, batoning, fuzz-sticking)
3. digging for Dakota fire-hole, starting fire with Fire-steel
4. cleaning a wide area for camp
5. preparing A-lean
6. preparing traps (different types)
7. re-sharpening knives with sand/rocks
What do you think? Any suggestions? I could add different tests, or delete some of the aboves?
Many many thanks in advance for your suggestion guys. Ciao, Alfredo
