Teaching a friend to make a knife

Hi,
Last year i was asked by a mate to make a knife for his friend, the answer was no i'm not making it he can make his own and i'll help him.
So we started on the knife at Xmas time its been an on going project with a couple of hours here and there of are spare time.
The knife is made from 01 tool steel and is 3mm thick, all the work was done by hand using a hacksaw and a file. The handle is made from camel bone.

The leather neck sheath is all his own work to from cutting it out, tooling in his pattern, dying it and stitching all together.
