I've followed a couple of small flame wars over the weekend where members have been accused of selling a 'too good to be true' item, either because of the price or the quantity. In one of those cases, the member was new to BCUK and with no history here took a lot of flak over their sale.
OK, so it's caveat emptor when buying here, and we have to do our research before handing over money, but here's a suggestion that might help: why not open a 'feedback forum' or even just a sticky in the classifieds area where happy (or unhappy) customers can post their feedback on purchases? It would make it easier to research sellers.
Just my 2p worth.
