Back on the subject of the Funding... or what every you may want to call it.. :)

MY feeling is to allow more time for this to be spoken about and thougths from every one... we aim to have made a decsion ready for the first meet in the new year :)... plus we got the cost of the Xmas one to pay for :)

Essay still not started, should make a start this afternoon, unless I go out to the shed, still got to get the saw Kevin donated to run.

I agree with you Stu, I think it would be better if the group could talk about it face to face at a meet or two that way the group can get their points over in voice instead of a misunderstood text....

So been busy with arrows and bows of late and came up with these to go on the ends. I ve been making turkey barred Fletching for a member on here ie choosing matched feathers, cutting and grinding them and cutting to shape.

Now I have had these for a little while and got them from a guy in the usa, he doesn't make them anymore which is a shame as they are outstanding. Made out of heavy drilling bits and made to look like knapped heads. You will destroyed the arrow before break ing one of these heads.

I can see now... they are forged... :)... very nice bit of work there, I got to get round to making some nice arrows sometime :)

Hi Stu, the first lot of photos are of stone knapped heads, flint, dragon glass (cannot think of it's real name) and some sort of stone from the USA. The second lot are the forged heads. Cheers.

OH i see, lol, i thought some were kanpped, but wondered what material they were, the forged ones look great as well :)

Yes I did ozzy. Yes they use it when doing heart surgery, I had a big blade which I made long ago which I then sent to the USA as a Xmas gift.....Always wished that I hadn't but never mind.

I know from experience that you get wet under a chute, personally I prefer a large tarp, Cheap as chips and easily replaceable.:)

It all depends on the parachute material, my cargo one "is" water proof and has had standing water puddles around the edges after a heavy night of rain, which I have used to make my tea with
