NA some would say it hard to decide whether I am a wake or not... lol

I did Quickly knock up a tobacco pouch last night as well....

But not happy with it...

none
no worries

like the kit you've certainly been busy

I've a haversack on my to do list too

if you keep the strap long (and adjustable you can wear it as a backpack by stepping through the strap and passing it over your head

like this

I was shocked at the speed of the quiver. Next day haversack and a tobacco pouch. Ok new idea, child labour. Must be ;)

Great work fella. Love the thought and detail of adding the divider and smaller pockets to keep stuff tidy. All this and the leather work you have been doing is putting the rest of us to shame :You_Rock_

Cool thread

I expected Sam (as it was he who made me aware of them and so is at fault and to blame :p ) to mention Market Wallets, like

Thank you,

Na he has not yet.... lol

I do like that great bit of kit for Foraging,...... as you walk along, have seen references about them but that's the first image.. may be the next thing I make for my ever growing Retro kit that is getting to become 1800's kit, lol...

I don't know about that, just happen to have spare time at the mo, and like to keep busy.

Oh yeah market wallets >>><<< at this rate we'll all be wandering piles of kit which kinda moves away from the minimalist long hunter style idea originally had

I'm thinking that the food quiver and market wallet are, other than the manner in which they're slung, variants on the food carrying theme ~ a step, or two, on in time would be the bread bag.

They look a handy piece of kit for heavy/bulky materials although at this rate we'll all be wandering piles of kit which kinda moves away from the minimalist long hunter style idea originally had

Yeah I know what you mean, But its fun making things and using them, but it takes up no space and handy if you need more carry space

one word of warning, I ve just tried putting my kit in my haversack, and its too small... I know there would be a reason why they were that size... so may well have to make another one... lol, and think its been made worse, due to the Divider.. but hey ho... the Small bully is the problem, so may just wear it on the outside....

One thing I have Noticed.....

Is it me or is most of the Guys on You Tube are so Boring, and total Planks.... just a thing I have noticed, also how the hell do they make 2 mins of info last 20 mins.......
Its the um erm you know bit that kills me.
Either pass on the info accurately or dont bother.
I have a new rule. If I aint gripped in first minute I'll stop wasting my time.

I'll watch that link later when I'm allegedly asleep at work.

I'm debating a skillet/fry pan. Seems a reasknable amount of reference to em. And it makes roasing coffee etc easier
