Just made a batch of trail bread.
Plain wholemeal and rye flour corn meal and honey.
Its a long term eating food....
Hard tack is also ready.
Jerky if I can resist eating it is sorted.
Kits all good but no surprise there :)

I ve not done much more as I been doing other things, but as its near to the time, i'll bee booning it at the Suffolk Meet on the 6th and 7th Sept.. :), and will finalise food then,

Meat wise I think i'll be using some boiled bacon.. but may take some biltong ..

I am also meaning to make some parched corn.

I finished mine yesterday, recycled out of an old army surplus pup tent, 7'x9' but bloody heavy. Sadly I wont be doing the Boone this time around, but that wont stop me collecting the kit:)

Thinking boiled bacon and beans with a few veg myself. Trail bread, dried fruit and nuts for lunches. Leftover bacon and bannock maybe for breakfast and cornmeal mush another day ????

All ideas.

Think I have the kit I intend using but need to sort it and pack it to see what I have. I'm probably overkill on the bedroll but I'm not keen in being uncomfortable and limited by some of the kit.
