I like true stories about big adventures that people have made.Ican listen for hours on storeis like that and if sitting in front of a fire with a kuksa full of coffe i just makes it so much better.
I have a friend that is retired nowadays and spend his days canoeing and walking around in the forest. When I visited him a while back and he took out ne of his diarys of a canoetravel in Canada. That was a really nice thing and also vwery interesting, a fun thing was that the diary was full of smashed mosquitoes (that´s what happens when you kill mosquitos with your diary).
I found an old book in a bric-a-brac shop that contains fictional stories based on nature (Call of the Wild type stuff) which I have been reading/trying to commit to memory. Don't know if this counts?
