Squirrel ate my zip - Berghaus Vulcan

Whilst rock climbing at Dewerstone rocks on Dartmoor our packs were raided by squirrel(s) seeking food. They have amazing food sensing skills and went straight for the pockets containing food. They damaged 4 backpacks: 3 zips were trashed and one went straight through the fabric of the main compartment. Lesson learned.

On my Berghaus Cyclops 11 Vulcan pack the side pouch/pocket lid-zip was eaten through so does anyone know if I can have the zip replaced or where I can obtain a replacement pouch at a reasonable price?

cant help with the kit fixes although i hear endicotts have a good repair service.

these bags are odour proof though so will keep them from smelling out food in your pack. they seemed to know where they were going so fooling the nose is the only way to go

Sorted. Phoned Endicotts and they are sending out 2 replacement pouches for around £20.00. Not squirrel proof though.
