Hi Guys,

I've made a few more recycled coin pendants and thought I'd share some pics before I get on with some more.

First is a little lucky sixpence with a clover cut into it. This one is from 1949.

This is an ivy leaf cut from an old penny from 1967. I decided to leave the original pattern on these next few as I think it gives a bit more history/interest to the pieces. This one has been shaped and given a bit of autumn colouring.

A wolf, cut from a 1948 florin (two shillings). I also drilled the florin itself so you can wear either part as a pendant.

And my favourite so far, a cute little squirrel cut from another 1967 penny.

Now I'm off to do a few more designs :)

Thanks for looking,

Those are looking cracking Squishy, excellent work. The space left by the wolf head really jumps out on the coin, would look great on someones neck.

Nice leaving the dates on too, so folk can celebrate birthdays, anniversary's too. (Only thing with the squirrel is that 1967 was Reds 35th birthday!:lmao:)

Cracking work.

What a great idea you've had with this one, eh?.........I'm going to have to save my pocket money for one of these, I'm all spent up after buying a new knife from some fella up your way :)

Cheers guys :)

Haha Mac.. he did mention it earlier actually and have to say it looks gorgeous, I will make sure it gets posted out asap :)

GB - Yes, I like to leave the dates intact either on the pendants themselves or the "scrap" part (which also gets sent to the customer). As you say, they make great gifts for birthdays and anniversaries or just as a little bit of interesting history. I plan to make one each for my parents for xmas as I managed to get hold of coins from both their birth years.

Also just finished this one off this afternoon, a penny from 1945 where I have simply cut out the background. Not entirely happy with it, but my piercing is definitely getting better :)
