Gloucestershire
Just got up and seen that Gloucestershire is covered in snow - a very rare occurrence - and I don't go back to work for two days - looks like playtime!

There's a small snow fall here in Norwich too, I'm off for the short section of wherryman's way. I have to first get a train to reedham then after a short walk I get a ferry across the river then bus home. Hope for some good pics later.

I was woken up to my dad going "wheeeee!!!" this morning!
Theres still a little blizzard going on atm in Thame, although my face turns a little more tense when it gets thinner.

Nooo, stay nice and thick, snowflakes! :)

Pete :)

Got a sprinkling here too.

sunny here in sheffield. Eother way, I have a rotten cold and I don't feel like going out whatever its like.

We had about an inch fall over night, the cats are out enjoying themselves in it. Sadly it's starting to melt and I'm not going to be able to get out for a bimble today :(

Eother way, I have a rotten cold and I don't feel like going out whatever its like.

Bad luck Lindsey, hope you feel a lot better soon :)

We have snow!!

So I am very happy. The kids a bit grumped that it came the first day back at school, two weeks off where they could of played in it all day, and it the snow turns up today. Something that has dawned on me this week is that my children despite having a mother that drags them out in all weathers, they have never really had experiance of proper cold, and are a bit soft. I remember walking to school in snow deep enough it came to the top of wellies (1978-79), and getting the start of frost bite on school cross country race. My kids have never really known these conditions.

Had a bit of a sprinkling in Leeds this morning, it had melted at some point and then frozen again in big lumps on my windscreen. It took two kettles of water to get it off :D

We have just being slegding. My sons kit tested his kyrtle for the darkages meet. I needed to know if the embroidery on the bottom hem could take a child abusing it. It sure could and i must say the garment is utterly perfect for sliding on snow. After a hour of use he was the only who didn't have a damp rear:D . I can see norse kids gripping the back hem in the same way he was, the things you learn from using living history kit.

yep we got it here in Northants this morning then we got to Gloucester for a family funeral slightly later in the morning to even more, and very slippy roads, didnt take long for the road to melt but the surrounding hillsides made for nice views :)
