i watched this programme and thought maybe ministers should watch it also. I thought that there is a lesson to be learned by looking into the past...

I watched that tonight and it was great. I love trees so I was absolutely loving it

Not a bad wee documentary, I like that they worked Patrick M AND the Beltaine into it somehow. All hail the Duke of Atholl for planting all the larch.

Overall I thought it cast the FC in a good light. They have had lots of good intentions but - as always is the case with people - made a few mistakes.

Finally got round to watching this, and was glad I did. Nicely balanced and informative. Shame they didn't show more of Kilmun Arboretum, I spent several weeks working there recently and it's a truly remarkable place. Could be much better if funding was given, however in the current eco climate not much chance of that.

Never knew the Atholl did all that planting, quite impressive.
