Shame. They were a good company.
I know - I've got 2 of their smocks. Had to giggle when discussing the sizing of the second one with Paul when he asked if I would be wearing body armour under it
Somewhere I've got one of their old catalogues from back in the day too.
I remember the bodh armour question too, a quick 5 minute call turned into an hour and somehow global politics got involved
Yes, gone and missed. The phone conversations with Paul were always interesting - a one hour epic on Chinese production destroying the Garberdine market springs to mind.
He has been selling military collectables on ebay but I can't remember his 'call-sign'.
I bought one of the first tan ones and asked him to take all the pockets off. For a change in the standard pattern I expected at least the full price or even slightly more but Paul being the great guy he was knocked the price down...'less material' he said - simple!
I have a few of his trial shorts in different camos - superbly comfortable.
...and his bug out bags were great. Plain, simple, functional. He even changed the spec on them for me to use a more robust nylon in the back contact fabric instead of the original cotton so I could give them a bit more wear and tear. Still going strong and used every summer for lightweight walks.
I even convinced my missus to wear an OD without pockets that I bought her. She LOVES it and wears it all the time.

Yes a shame first used the company 1989 and remember the phone chats as well. Didnt just buy the clothing. Got my first Kukri from him and a lot of good pouches. Still wish I had bought the E & E belt.
selling militaria - which ties in with the previous info. As does all the feedback for at least the last 90 days.
Ebay member since 2000 but the website referenced in the shop description has been "under construction" for quite a while (copyright notice is 2009). I'm guessing it hasn't been updated to fit with the new focus of the business
I may be given a SASS Smock from a friend to sell and will put on here for everyone to see. I think its the Force 8 design in a XL. But will confirm.
