I'm not loving my Salamanda - I'm more of a camper than a hiker, I want a shelter with a touch more wiggle room, maybe the ability to comfortably read a book & have fun hanging out in. I know I don't like this one, so I'd like to try something else and see how that goes.
I'm open to trade for any shelter that does a similar job: similar weight (1.24kg or below); fairly stealthy; similar-or-better waterproofing; but preferably further on the spectrum towards tent than bivi.
(Pros & cons of the salamanda:
* Extremely welsh-rainproof
* feels light to carry
* Lovely 'window' over your head you can open or close depending on weather
* Finicky to get in and out when setting up with all your sleeping bags & mats
* no real room for a rucksack
* claustrophobic (& I'm pretty small)
* Mine is new-ish (1year old) but has been frequently used)
